What does corporate sustainability mean for one of the world’s largest communication services groups? With our help, WPP became the first to respond to this question (in 2002), defining the agenda for the sector. We helped WPP assess its issues, develop its CS policy, establish a management structure and then report on performance.
Since then we have worked with WPP to maintain its position as a sector leader and communicate with investors, employees and clients on sustainability issues.
In 2007, we helped the group measure its carbon footprint and launch its first climate change strategy. Since then we have helped the group to achieve a reduction in energy consumption and to set further ambitious targets for 2020.
